My first recollection of Dave was after lunch, on the day of my first jump course. Dave was due to take us on the second half of our one-day course. The group were all standing in the Parachute Packing Shed when Dave walks in, with a fag in his mouth, saying... "wot am I doin' wrong?". We all replied "You're smoking a cigarette". Dave pulls it out of his mouth, stamps on it and says "Right... now we've all acknowledged that, let's get on with it...". He had an unforgettable teaching style important things! Mike
